Lance Pugmire reports that a rematch between Keyshawn Davis and Nahir Albright will headline Top Rank’s first DAZN show, which is “targeted” for May 16 in Davis’ hometown of Norfolk, Virginia.

Davis (14-0, 10 KO) beat Albright (17-2-1, 7 KO) by majority decision in 2023, only to test positive for marijuana and have to settle for a no contest. The pair crossed paths again last June, though not in the ring; shortly after Davis lost his lightweight title on the scales ahead of a planned defense against Edwin De Los Santos, Albright defeated Davis’ brother Kelvin by majority decision, only for Keyshawn to allegedly assault Albright backstage.

Both men have fought once in the interim. Davis beat the tar out of Jamaine Ortiz on the January 1st Teofimo Lopez vs Shakur Stevenson show, while Albright fought Frank Martin to a draw on DAZN’s February 21st Mario Barrios vs Ryan Garcia card.

We’ll let you know if and when Top Rank makes it official.
