Zuffa Boxing is back in Las Vegas this evening for Zuffa Boxing 08, featuring a lightweight rematch between Edwin De Los Santos and Jose Valenzuela in the main event.
De Los Santos stopped Valenzuela in the third round of their first meeting in 2022, in what was a wild fight where both men hit the canvas. They delivered chaotic action last time, and the promise of a good fight is there again tonight.
We’ll be here for live coverage, results, and reactions to the fights for the three-fight main card, which kicks off at 8 pm ET. Join us!

Cain Sandoval def. Brandun Lee by Majority Decision
Official Scores: 95-95, 96-94, and 97-93 for Sandoval
BLH Unofficial Score: 96-94 for Sandoval
Lee has gone from ShoBox/PBC prospect of note to a guy whose boxing career has just totally stalled out over the last three years. One fight with Queensberry, one with Top Rank, this was his first with Zuffa and his first in a year, and he fought like a guy who kind of wasn’t aware that he’s lost something in those three years. But you can see it if you remember him from before. He was never a super blue chipper, but he had promise and potential, and that just didn’t look to be there anymore.
Yes, it’s only one loss, and he’s now 30-1 (23 KO), but he’s 27 and never really got into contention in the first place. I don’t mean to write him off for good, but this was really just a listless, sort of empty performance. He can bounce back, but he really has to get at it and stay busy, too. The stagnation caught up really badly. Sandoval (18-1, 15 KO) didn’t even fight in his usual super TV-friendly style, which may have also thrown Lee off a bit, but the Lee we saw tonight probably wouldn’t have done great against that version of Sandoval, either.
