Andres Cortes and Eridson Garcia will fight in the main event of Zuffa Boxing 05 tonight from Las Vegas.
Cortes (24-0, 13 KO) is a former Top Rank fighter and rising contender at 130, now fighting at 135 because Zuffa doesn’t do the “in-between” divisions. Garcia (23-1, 14 KO) may be a very tough opponent, a southpaw who does have one loss — and it was a first round knockout — but has won six straight since and upset Taiga Imanaga in Riyadh last December.
The main card will also feature returns for lightweight Mark Magsayo, a former featherweight titleholder, and longtime Golden Boy scrapper Azat Hovhannisyan.
